Hardest thing about keto diet, biting the bullet

This is my usual diet, carbs with proteins..
The thing about keto diet, it is related to mood, sometimes you feel good, sometimes you feel awful, and there are sometimes that you cannot find your usual meals.
My history with Atkins and keto in general, south beach, name it and I don't know it. Just a combination of failures.
But this time is different, that what I told my future self, this time I will cut everything into halves, and induction phase will be really induction. Why?
Just because I feel it coming. In this pandemic of obesity, minimalism is necessary.
I need to lose 10kg, and to drop from 80s to 70s, using ketogenic diet, it should be a blast. I hope that my simple writing relates to you in one way or another, maybe some of your relatives or loved ones are on a quest for weight losing.
Remember : it is the journey that counts, not the goals and destination. Make everyday counts. Your step counter set to 10000 steps per day, nothing can go wrong. You got this. You are experienced enough doing this, not your first time losing weight. IT is a battle of consistency and showing everyday to gym (minus the holidays).
It is simple, cut the carbs and sugars down to almost zero daily. Increase your proteins and fats for compensation. Increase your fluid intake. This is not recommended for patient with renal problems, so consult your doctor before going into these diets.
This blog post is for reminding me and you in the first place, to take action positively towards your health, because no one will do that instead of you.
People are going to test you, will flirt with you and offer donuts, you can call it will power testing. Remember that your belly fat will go last, and your fatty face will go first, no pain, no gain (or loss in your case).
The thing about calorie counting it is not sustainable for me at least, I find it hard to not complete a meal once I have started, old programming.
Vegan diet is not for me, also that blood type style of dieting, also the one type of food diet, the worse thing about them that once you reached your goals, you cannot sustain it. Carnivore diet for example, you need something to ease your colon's constipation and some veggies will do the trick.
So, eggs and bacon, sausages, and steaks, seafood, poultry.. etc. is your mainstay for long time.
Carbs are to be added later on by measured quantities in relation to heavy workloads on brain and body, although I started to find (after 2 days of dieting) that my mind feels clearer than every, and can do heavy working flawlessly. No headache because I still have my coffee fix and drink a lot of fluids.
Moving your body is equally important for this to work, it potentiates the effects and cuts the craving. Start by doing the big 5 in gym daily with 20 minutes of walking.
The big 5: Push in front, pull from front, push upwards, pull from upwards, and push through your legs (leg press). in simple terms these exercises will keep your body engaged. Try to hit each muscle group twice a week. One large and one small group.
Chest and biceps, back and triceps, core (abdominals), leg day, and repeat the cycle with daily cardio. Aim for reps about 30 for each at your doable limits, remember that you want to make small incremental increase in your workload.
Try to hit the muscle in front and back so your posture still holds the equilibrium.
Protein intake should be above your usual. Many things will improve in your way: your dreams will flourish, your breathing will be deeper, and your resting heart rate will decrease.
Use your tracking device whatever you have got, Apple watch, Garmin, Samsung, Polar, etc. Care not to over train, and to obtain rest for recovery period.
Garmin watches are known for that, and for this reason I use them daily. It calculates the cadence, vertical oscillation and O2 max as well as advice for how long of rest is needed, based on your heart rate and how long you have been in your max.
Do you recall the times that you have obtained the optimal weight? What was your focus? was it in food, or something else?
And here is the final tip: IF you are still focusing on food, what are you going to eat next, that means you are still in the induction phase. The diet should be a part (not substitute) for total makeover of your life, including money makeover, language acquisition, body mastery, and relationship /social integration.
I believe that each person is expert in himself, he knows what is healthy and what is not, how to spend his time wisely, the importance of social relationships, and the power of teamwork, we often ignore some of them and this arrogance can lead to detrimental effects on the whole life we are leading.
That little voice in your head. Listen to it, cultivate it, enhance it, upgrade it, and transcend it.
If you feel the need for relaxation, I have got you covered. Here is the 10 minutes sea sounds (plus jetskiis).
By this video, It is nice to end this blog, about 958 words.
Did you know that numbers 1 to 9 are palindromic? Oh, let's leave that to other article.
The favorite quote of the week: Action precedes motivation.
The call to action /homework is to answer that little voice in your head and to follow through.
Have a nice weekend.
